Production tests

All the goods coming to the furnishing and consolidating centre from production plants go through additional tests for quality and completeness.

During the process of acceptance the goods are visually controlled to find out consistency with technical certificates, completeness of accompanying documentation and presence of obvious defects. The major part of flange armature goes through obligatory bench tests. These tests are to check and confirm that the technical characteristics of products comply with those stated in technical certificates. We use high-precision pneumohydraulic test benches to test flange armature, body material durability and density, and bibb impermeability in the range between 15 and 500 mm under the pressure up to 250 atmospheres.

The results are recorded in a test report. The report shows real compliance of the product with its declared quality and determines the decision whether to send the goods to the customer or to reject them.

For the customer the test report becomes an important part of accompanying documentation together with the technical certificate. Tested product gets a special proof mark.

Total control of all the ordered production simplifies the process of preparation for pipeline assembling. Production with the “Komplekt-Service” proof mark can be installed into the pipeline without any concerns.

Furnishing centre test lab is a strong barrier that protects customer from dealing with defective production. This allows the customer to eliminate costs for possible returning of defective parts while installation and minimize the risks of breakage in the acting pipeline system.

During its long history the quality test lab of the Company tested hundreds of thousands of items. Test results data is stored at the sci-tech department of the Company. This statistics helps the production plants interested in increasing their competitiveness as they use this data to improve product design and production technologies. On the basis of this statistics technical specialists of the company can advise the customer on the optimal variant of the production corresponding to his demands as to quality, reliability and safety.
